Hiller Carbon LLC is a privately held U.S. corporation headquartered in Tampa, Florida, and a subsidiary of North Shore Holdings.
Hiller Carbon was founded in 1975 by Wes Hiller Sr., originally as Hiller Fuels, Inc.—a coal mining and marketing company created to meet the urgent demand for reliable energy during the Cold War and energy crisis. In its early years, the company focused on supplying bituminous coal to industrial users, and by the early 1980s, successfully sold its Kentucky coal interests to Nerco Coal Company, part of Pacific Power and Light.
In 1985, Hiller expanded into aviation services with the creation of The Hiller Group, which grew to become one of the largest general aviation fuel distributors in North America. The group was ultimately acquired by a NYSE-listed company in 2010.
Today, Hiller Carbon LLC continues that legacy of innovation and growth—delivering specialized carbon products, engineered solutions, and comprehensive processing, warehousing, and distribution capabilities for industries worldwide.
